should i be concerned?
my husband of 3 yrs. we dated for 2 has an ex they’ve been apart for 15yrs ahve a 19yr old son and she has a daugter from previos relationship 23yrs old. I dont have a problem with his 19 yr old always borrowing money but the daughter consstantly calls him begging for money Cant pay her cell phone bill short on the rent its always something. shehad ababy couple of years ago and he didnt find out until after the Baby was born. but that didint stop her for requesting gifts.(expensive ones) she calls him dad only when her hand is out ( no fathers day cards bday gifts nothing. My husband continues to support her even against my will.We just cant afford it. I am a stay at home mom we just had triplets in january. How can I get him to stop.? oh yeah shes never been to our home and i have never met her.just over the phone
Yes you should be concerned….He is enabling her behavior by not telling her a resounding “NO”…..and he is disrespecting you and your marriage by giving his GROWN daughter money that she doesn’t even use wisely….She sounds to be a spoiled and manipulative young woman…and she will continue on with this behavior as long as her step daddy is there to bail her out of her financial problems..even when he doesn’t really have the money to do so….
